Miss Moana is #1 of our newest “Triple Threat” (LOL :). 3 youngsters that came to us with Lyme Disease . They will be on antibiotics for a month. They are now Tic free... Thank God & the Vet Tec's. My Vet Said this was the worst tic infestation he had ever seen. They spent a week at the vets. They have been Spayed & Neutered, up-dated on all their shots, Heartworm (neg) & Lyme(positive) tested, Wormed, & Micro chipped for a total so far of $865.00 (Including Kenneling 3 for a week) Thanks to Dr. Lyon at the Corry Vet Clinic, without him we could not help as many Bassets as we do each year.
They are all very thin, but eating like horses so they should put on the weight they need. They are also solid muscle from running free. They are getting the hang of the doggie doors & having a blast playing with the other Bassets.
Miss Moana is a long lean girl, very, very sweet, right now she reminds me of a gazelle Basset when she runs. She is the smartest one & a bit more mature acting than the boys (big surprise there:). She loves attention & cuddling.
These 3 will make wonderful companions for 3 lucky families, when they are ready to go. They have wonderful temperaments, are beautiful & very friendly. They have been around Ferrets & a raccoon as playmates & like everyone they meet!
