This 2nd annual event is sponsored by Therapy Dogs United, Inc., and the American Kennel Club. We hope to double last year’s attendance of approximately 400 people with at least 100 visiting dogs! Our festival has moved from 2008 – and will be held at the Southeast side of Frontier Park, at the corner of West 8th Street and the Bayfront Highway (across from the Country Fair). It will be held rain or shine!
Schedule of Events
Throughout this event, we will have a number of ongoing activities, including: agility demonstrations and equipment for all dogs to use, therapy dog testing demos, pet safety demos, dog bite prevention tips, Blessing of the Pets, a Chinese auction, carnival-style games, live acoustic music, and more. We will once again ask the public to sign a poster-size copy of the AKC’s Responsible Dog Ownership Pledge, available at the Registration table.
