Rosie is a beautiful six year old girl who was turned in to a shelter along with her partner Russell.  Her early years were spent in a garage and caring for her newborn bassets.  With numerous other dogs in the family, both Rosie and Russell haven't known the life they truly deserve.  But as bassets will, she has quickly responded to a loving home and affection and will follow me from room to room with a wagging tail making up for lost time when her life wasn't so good.  She is a very sweet girl and will melt your heart when she lovingly looks at you with her big beautiful raccoon eyes.  She is a quiet dignified lady but can't resist telling you that you need to be faster making her dinner and gets great pleasure from letting the squirrels in the yard know that they are on HER property.  She gets along great with my three bassets, with children and has learned that the bed is much more comfortable than the garage floor.  Rosie and Russell  are  a bonded pair & need adopted together.
