Shadow was picked up as a stray in West Virgina.   The vet estimates him to be about 5 years old.   He is completely house trained, and rarely barks.   His only vice is, like many bassets, he will counter surf.  Shadow is VERY affectionate...loves to snuggle...and is especially fond of kids,  While is is quite in the house he comes to life at the dog park and loves running with other dogs.  He has good leash manners. Shadow has never shown any food or possession aggression.   This would be the perfect best buddy for just about anyone...he wants to be someones special boy
