Good morning – I was visiting the Animal Rescue League in Pittsburgh yesterday and saw the most beautiful basset hound.   He has been at the shelter over a month and is so loving and instantly warmed up to me.   He was calm and his eyes were just pleading to be rescued and he just didn’t demand the attention the other younger dogs did. I just want this guy to have a chance.   He is 6 years old and his name is Marvin.  
Information from his web pg: This sweet guy came to the shelter as a stray. It is hard to believe that nobody is looking for him. He is sometimes a typical slow moving Basset Hound - but then he shows you a surprising amount of energy and spunk for his age! He has the cutest sad eyes that look sad even when he's happy. He has that unique hound bark that is so amusing. Stop in to see this guy. He'll steal your heart for sure.
